Brief: KIHCO is a new hair salon supplier company based in Dublin Ireland that discovers new products from around the world and supplies them to the Irish market. Their brief was to create a new logo, monogram/emblem, branding for their company and a website to portray their new selection of products. As they are a newly developed company they wanted a brand that would resemble a bright new beginning in the hair supplies industry. KIHCO is a bold, fresh and young brand that desired its character to be echoed by its branding.

Design: KIHCO wanted to resemble their character which is bright and new through their branding and thus wanted their brand colour to be yellow. In regards to the typography, the client and I decided to go for a sans-serif font that had a bit of a funky twist yet still was clean and crisp. The monogram/emblem was created using the letters K and C which are the initials of Keratin Company.

As they are a very young company for their website, they requested a simple layout which they will build on in the future. Following their request, I kept the design simple and cohesive with the branding.
